Krafton Open-Sources AI Assistant 'Kira,' Enabling Anyone to Build Their Own

Krafton has fully released its personal AI assistant 'KIRA (KRAFTON Intelligence Rookie Agent)' on the open-source platform GitHub, based on AI technology validated in-house. This decision is to extend the successful know-how of Krafton's AI agent 'KRIS' to general users and developers. In fact, KRIS has proven remarkable work efficiency, such as reducing meeting minute creation time from 1 hour to just 3 minutes. Now, innovation is coming to your work environment too. KIRA operates based on the business messenger 'Slack' and can easily perform various tasks such as document generation, schedule management, and information retrieval with natural language commands alone. After installing the desktop app and linking Anthropic's 'Claude' API key, it can be used immediately, with costs incurred based on API usage. KIRA's most prominent feature is its 'Smart Memory' function. Because it remembers the context of conversations and important project details, you can receive continuous and context-appropriate support without needing to repeatedly explain the work background to the AI. Furthermore, features like automatically extracting assigned tasks from Outlook emails or the 'Proactive Suggestion' function, which suggests necessary tasks based on accumulated information, will further boost your work efficiency. Security is also a strong advantage of KIRA. All conversation content and memory data are stored on the user's computer (local), not on external servers. This minimizes concerns about corporate information leakage, providing an environment where it can be safely used for important tasks.
