Korea Social Investment, Musinsa Launch 6th Fashion Startup Support
## Musinsa Next Fashion Scholarship 6th Cohort Opens New Horizons for Fashion Startups The journey of the 6th cohort of the 'Musinsa Next Fashion Scholarship (MNFS)', an innovative program set to lead the future of fashion startups, has finally begun. Conducted through a strategic partnership between Korea Social Investment and Musinsa, a leading domestic fashion platform, MNFS provides prospective fashion entrepreneurs with practical growth opportunities, invigorating the startup ecosystem. A total of 23 prospective entrepreneurs across 15 teams were selected for this 6th cohort, with particular attention drawn to the expansion of eligibility to include non-fashion majors starting this year. This inclusive change has attracted the participation of international students from various nationalities, including Vietnam, China, and Japan, further enhancing the program's global standing. Talented individuals from across borders and diverse academic backgrounds are expected to come together to explore new possibilities in fashion. The MNFS 6th cohort, which will span approximately nine months until May 2026, is structured as high-intensity, practice-oriented training covering the entire startup process, from brand planning and product development to content creation, distribution strategy, and marketing. Beyond simple theoretical learning, it aims to lay a solid foundation for participants to successfully establish their actual businesses. Substantial support is also generously provided to participants. Korea Social Investment sponsors 5 million won in prototype production funds for each team and guarantees an optimal startup environment through the opportunity to move into Musinsa Studio Sindang branch. This allows prospective entrepreneurs to alleviate initial financial burdens and materialize their ideas within a professional infrastructure. The educational program is systematized into a three-stage roadmap: 'Branding' to establish brand philosophy and direction, 'Strengthening Production Capabilities' through innovative prototype creation, and 'Distribution and Marketing' for successful market entry. Furthermore, a unique strength of MNFS is its tailored education, optimized for each team, by categorizing participants according to their business preparation level into Growth, Build, and Seed stages. An official from Korea Social Investment stated, "Through our strategic partnership with Musinsa, we are creating tangible and sustainable changes in the fashion startup ecosystem," and promised full support to help young entrepreneurs' startup challenges take root as robust businesses. They plan to meticulously analyze the program's social impact on the youth startup ecosystem using impact measurement tools and, based on this, collaborate with Musinsa to further advance the fashion startup support model. All eyes are on the new fashion vision that MNFS 6th cohort will present and the brilliant success stories of young entrepreneurs.
