CODIT, an AI-based legal and policy data specialist company, garnered attention by showcasing its innovative AI policy monitoring technology on the global stage. Participating in the corporate exhibition of the 'APEC 2025 Digital & AI Forum' held on August 5th in Songdo, Incheon, CODIT demonstrated its leading AI platform, leaving a deep impression on government and industry stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region.
The forum, an official side event of the Digital & AI Ministerial Meeting attended by government and industry representatives from 21 APEC member economies, brought CODIT's technology and vision into sharp focus. CODIT presented a dashboard capable of identifying real-time South Korean policy trends on-site, while also elaborating on its customized policy information provision features based on key APEC agendas. In particular, its AI technology that automatically categorizes rapidly changing policy developments in the Korean market—such as bills, press releases, and media articles—by key issues, and provides core content summarized in English, received enthusiastic attention from attendees.
Government officials from APEC member economies, including Minister Bae Kyung-hoon of the Ministry of Science and ICT, and ICT experts visited the CODIT booth and praised it highly, saying, "A system that can quickly receive key information in English in the rapidly changing Korean policy market will significantly enhance practical work efficiency." The AI's ability to automatically categorize and summarize information was lauded as extremely useful for practitioners.
CODIT is focusing on strengthening the policy response capabilities of businesses and institutions, based on domestic policy data and its independently developed AI summarization technology. In the second half of this year, it plans to further expand its service areas through the launch of 'Chat CODIT,' a conversational AI agent that provides real-time policy information from major countries like Korea and the U.S. in a Q&A format.
Jung Ji-eun, CEO of CODIT, stated, "At this forum, we received positive feedback from policy makers in various countries, who recognized our platform as essential for practical policy responses." She added, "In a rapidly changing global digital environment, the quick and accurate delivery of policy information across borders has become a necessity, not an option. CODIT will rise as a platform leading global policy responses in line with these demands of the times."
CODIT is also scheduled to participate as a speaker in the APEC Public-Private Dialogue to be held on August 12th, where it will continue to present in-depth proposals on digital transformation and AI cooperation strategies. Through this, it is expected to further expand its influence in the global AI policy market.
