Freelance platform Kmong's 'AI Service' category achieved 2,800 cumulative transactions in just two months since its launch, making the fervor for AI adoption among companies palpable. This attests to companies actively embracing AI technology as a driving force for business innovation. Indeed, according to an EY-Hanyoung survey, the AI adoption rate among domestic companies reached 52%, a 14% increase from the previous year, with 39% planning further adoption, revealing strong interest in AI.
In line with this trend, Kmong separated AI-related services, which were previously a sub-function of IT services, into an independent 'AI Service' category last June, pursuing an advanced strategy. Currently, over 1,400 diverse services, including AI illustrations, AI advertising video production, AI automation programs, and GPT-powered app development, are provided through a pool of approximately 1,200 AI experts equipped with professionalism and practical experience. Offering customized solutions in specialized areas such as design, content, development, and automation, the total cumulative AI-related transactions within Kmong have exceeded 16,000, including the achievements within two months of launch.
Particularly, demand for AI services is exploding in the fields of marketing, content creation, and business automation. Companies are leveraging AI to overcome the limitations of traditional production methods, drastically reducing time and cost while producing high-quality content. AI marketing content and illustrations have established themselves as powerful alternatives for companies with limited budgets.
Furthermore, cases of maximizing organizational productivity and efficiency by transitioning repetitive and time-consuming tasks to AI are rapidly increasing, including automated customer inquiry responses, data analysis automation, document creation assistant agents, and customized chatbot development.
A Kmong official stated, "More companies are experiencing the cost-saving benefits of AI," and expressed the ambition to "strengthen accessibility and practicality so that all companies can easily adopt AI, thereby breaking down barriers to digital transformation." Kmong plans to continuously develop its AI service ecosystem in the future through initiatives such as AI automation special exhibitions by job function, expanded AI service quality assurance for businesses, and the expansion of its AI expert pool.
