Careerday, an expert matching platform leading HR tech innovation, has finally joined the '2025 KB Starters Singapore Program' with the full support of KB Financial Group, establishing a bridgehead for its entry into the Southeast Asian market. This program is a core strategic initiative of KB Financial Group, designed to help promising startups successfully establish themselves in the Southeast Asian market, offering participating companies opportunities for global scale-up. A total of 15 innovative startups, including Careerday, will use this program to present their business vision and seek investment from leading local venture capitalists (VCs) in Singapore. Additionally, they will receive multi-faceted support, including extensive local networking, practical Proof of Concept (PoC), and market-tailored localization consulting. Careerday is a unique HR tech platform that utilizes sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI)-based matching technology to connect professionals and incumbent workers in core industries such as IT, finance, bio, and semiconductors with companies for short-term projects. Its current vast pool of over 25,000 experts and more than 5,000 cumulative successful matches prove its solidified position as an industry leader. Notably, Careerday recently launched a 'Career Counseling' voice call service, allowing professionals with career concerns to find answers through direct phone calls with incumbent workers, which has generated significant buzz. This service is quickly gaining traction among employees of large corporations, IT companies, and startups, establishing itself as an innovative communication channel where users can obtain vivid information and realistic advice from incumbent employees of desired companies or mentors who have successfully pursued specific careers. Careerday's growth potential has already been recognized by several investors. It has successfully secured investments from SparkLabs, D.CAMP, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, BA Partners, Yoosung Electronics, and others, and last year, it was selected for TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup), a representative technology startup program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, solidifying its technological capabilities and business viability. Kang Kyeong-min, CEO of Careerday, stated, "Singapore, where global talents converge, offers an optimal market entry opportunity for Careerday, which leads HR tech innovation," and expressed ambitions to "expand services globally, using Singapore as a key bridgehead for conquering the Asian market."
