JNP Global Joins Ministry of SMEs' TIPS as New Operator

Promising startups in Daejeon's six strategic industries and ten super-gap sectors, poised to shape the city's future, have seized an opportunity to accelerate their growth. Accelerator JNP Global has been selected as a new operating partner for 'TIPS' (Tech Incubator Program for Startup), a key tech startup support program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and will now officially embark on discovering and fostering these startups. TIPS is truly the nation's premier tech startup nurturing program, where private accelerators make initial investments of 100-200 million KRW in promising tech startups, and the government provides additional support of up to 500 million KRW in R&D funds, commercialization, and overseas marketing. Leveraging this selection as a stepping stone, JNP Global will, starting in November, actively seek out promising startups in Daejeon's six strategic industries and ten super-gap sectors and proceed with TIPS recommendations. In particular, JNP Global will combine its robust accelerating capabilities, including its accumulated expertise in specialized mentoring, extensive global network, and know-how in attracting follow-up investments, with the TIPS program to provide full support for early-stage startups to rapidly grow (scale up) beyond the 'valley of death' they often encounter. Furthermore, as an operating partner for the Daejeon Youth Startup Academy, it plans to maximize growth potential by offering TIPS recommendation opportunities to current academy participants in whom it has invested.
