GNTalk's 'Oichunsa EV Fire Detection Solution,' from a residential safety platform company, has successfully been introduced in 100 apartment complexes nationwide, emerging as a major player in the EV safety market. Following an EV fire incident at an Incheon Cheongna apartment last year, as social concerns regarding EV safety in underground parking lots intensified, the demand for fire detection and rapid response solutions has been sharply increasing. Indeed, in the first quarter of this year, inquiries for the solution's installation recorded 107 cases, a 58% increase compared to the same period last year, proving strong market interest. Particularly, the fact that most domestic apartment complexes built since the 2000s have adopted a 'no cars on ground' design, concentrating vehicle movement and parking underground, raises concerns about potential large-scale casualties and property damage in the event of an EV fire, and serves as a strong motivation for adopting the solution. The Oichunsa EV Fire Detection Solution operates based on 24-hour thermal imaging detection devices installed in EV charging zones. As soon as the system detects an abnormal temperature, it automatically reports to 119, broadcasts the situation via sirens and landline phones to the management office, duty room, and guard station, and simultaneously sends a triple emergency alert (ARS voice, text message, Oitalk) to all staff, enabling initial response within the golden hour. Furthermore, prioritizing residents' safety, for rapid evacuation and action within the EV fire golden hour, a triple emergency alert can also be optionally sent to residents' mobile phones. Notably, providing ARS voice alerts for digitally vulnerable groups, such as the visually impaired and seniors who have difficulty using smartphones, is an exclusive strength of the Oichunsa solution. Moreover, it identifies individuals who haven't responded to the initial alert and continuously re-alerts them, and by sharing information about unacknowledged individuals with firefighters upon their arrival, it demonstrates a meticulousness that even resolves blind spots in evacuation guidance. Lee Won-gil, head of the management office at Yeouido Lotte Castle Empire, expressed a positive response, stating, "Residents feel safer through the solution, and their satisfaction with living safety has increased." Installed in 100 complexes nationwide, including Bundang Sangrok Woosung Apartment, Incheon Guwol Lotte Castle Gold, Daejeon Jungchon Station Prugio Centum Park, and Busan Haeundae Hyundai Benecity, this solution enhances reliability by incorporating a thermal imaging camera system developed and produced by a domestic company, not a Chinese one, for personal information security. To enable apartment residents to build safe residential infrastructure without initial cost burden, GNTalk has partnered with Freefins, an expert in rental-conversion (RX), to offer the Oichunsa EV Fire Detection Solution in rental and subscription forms, thereby expanding accessibility. Lim Kwang-hyun, CEO of GNTalk, stated, "Our triple emergency alert system, including the industry's only ARS voice alarm, is receiving a great response from apartment residents' representative councils, and installation inquiries through the Seoul Metropolitan Government's EV charging infrastructure safety facility support project are also active." He emphasized continued investment in research and development to contribute to residents' beneficial lives.
