Every day at 8:40 AM, 'Startup Morning Coffee,' broadcast live on the YouTube channel 'Jeon Hwa-sung's CNTV' and hosted by CEO Jeon Hwa-sung, vividly highlights the core competencies and market potential of innovative startups. This program, which has established itself as a valuable information platform for those interested in the startup ecosystem through real-time comment interaction, has now turned its attention to Kingscare.
Kingscare offers a groundbreaking healthcare solution that automates the pharmacist's cumbersome pill sorting and dispensing process, a chronic problem in pharmacies. Existing automatic tablet counters (ATCs) were practically unattainable for anyone other than large pharmacies due to their high installation costs and enormous size. Consequently, small and medium-sized pharmacies still performed manual dispensing, leading to frequent hygiene issues and operational inefficiencies. To bridge this gap, Kingscare has developed a compact and low-cost automatic dispensing machine, aiming to popularize pharmacy automation. Currently, it is accelerating its growth through CNT Tech's Seongnam Startup Rising support program.
Kingscare's core competitiveness lies in its 'miniaturization and cost reduction' technology. Compared to existing large ATCs, the dispenser boasts an innovatively low price of approximately 1.5 million won and a small, space-efficient size, completely dismantling entry barriers for the small and medium-sized pharmacy market. This dispenser is not only affordable and compact but also features the ability to accurately sort and dispense a large quantity and variety of pills automatically, as well as individually package them with user-defined labels. Notably, it is designed to flexibly adapt to any pharmacy environment, incorporating patented technologies such as universal cartridge technology and unique dispensing and packaging methods.
CEO Jeon Hwa-sung praised Kingscare's endeavor as "an innovation that expands automated drug dispensing systems, which were previously limited to large pharmacies due to high technological entry barriers, to small and medium-sized pharmacies through miniaturization and cost reduction." Kingscare's solution is expected not only to dramatically improve the hygiene and efficiency of pharmacy operations but also to significantly alleviate pharmacists' excessive workload, thereby contributing greatly to the overall enhancement of healthcare service quality. Kingscare is set to become a game-changer that will transform the future of pharmacy environments.
