Through the '2025 AI Collabo Open Ground' program, which aims to lead innovation in the future AI industry, the Jeju Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (JCCEI) has partnered with leading domestic demand companies such as **DB Insurance**, **Chokwang Paint**, and **Hana Bank**, ultimately selecting 6 innovative startups and launching their commercialization cooperation.
Planned in June with the goal of revitalizing the AI industry ecosystem and discovering startups, this program presented key challenges for various industries including insurance, construction, and finance. Following in-depth offline meetups with startups, it identified 6 optimal partners to solve each company's immediate challenges.
**DB Insurance** was matched with two startups. With **AIO2O**, they will seek to advance mobile environment optimized conversion and summarization technology for PC document files. With **Cubic**, they will explore LLM Capsule-based data anonymization and the development of GPT utilization technology, thereby accelerating the digital transformation of the insurance industry.
**Chokwang Paint** is partnering with **The Miracle Soft** to develop a program for diagnosing paint exterior wall problems and recommending similar cases using AI-based LLM and vision models. With **Cognitum Inc.**, they are accelerating the development of AI-based product quality management and data extraction programs, thereby driving the intelligentization of the construction industry.
**Hana Bank** selected two partners for financial service innovation. With **Laon Data**, they will focus on AI-based customer insight analysis and building a hyper-personalized service system. With **GMission**, they plan to present a next-generation financial service model by embarking on the development of AI agents that assist with investment product review and due diligence tasks.
These selected startups will closely collaborate with each demand company until December to focus on practical AI technology-based testing and program development. Successful collaboration is expected to serve as an important stepping stone leading to future purchase contracts, investment attraction, and even global market expansion.
The Jeju Center plans to provide extensive support for the substantial growth of the selected companies. Diverse follow-up support will be provided, including 10 million KRW in PoC (Proof of Concept) funding, growth-stage acceleration programs, linkage to global open innovation programs, review of linkage to the center's seed money and investment funds, and even open innovation-purpose Jeju workcation opportunities.
An official from the Jeju Center for Creative Economy & Innovation emphasized that this '2025 AI Collabo Open Ground' will greatly contribute to breaking down inter-industry boundaries, promoting open innovation between companies and startups centered around the common keyword 'AI', and establishing a foundation for the expansion of the AI industry ecosystem. In addition to AI, the center is continuously promoting open innovation programs like 'Open Ground' in Jeju-specialized fields such as aerospace and the pet industry, thereby solidifying its role as a key cooperation platform connecting local industries with corporate demands.
