Edu-tech startup ZezeEdu has proudly made its name onto 'Battlefield 200,' a core program of 'TechCrunch Disrupt 2025,' recognizing its innovation on the global stage. TechCrunch Disrupt, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is the premier global startup conference where startups, investors, and media from around the world gather to discuss technology trends. 'Battlefield 200' is a unique opportunity where only 200 companies are selected out of over 2,500 applicants. In the past, global unicorn companies like Dropbox, Cloudflare, and Fitbit made their world debut through this stage, laying the groundwork for their growth.
ZezeEdu was selected for this program, highly recognized for the innovative technology and educational value of 'CherryPot,' its AI-based descriptive math solution feedback service. ZezeEdu will participate in the main event held in the US from October 27th to 29th, operating a dedicated exhibition booth, engaging in in-depth meetings with venture capitalists and corporate representatives from around the world, and holding various activities such as pitching showcases to present its vision. Furthermore, it will participate in the KOTRA Korea Pavilion exhibition, contributing to promoting South Korea's edutech capabilities.
ZezeEdu is already actively conducting PoCs (Proof of Concept) with educational institutions in the US and Southeast Asia, accelerating its entry into the global market. It has been selected as a case study in the education sector for UN/ITU's 'AI for Good' and is gaining international recognition, including joining NVIDIA's 'Inception Program.'
Lee Ju-jin, CEO of ZezeEdu, stated, "Being selected for Battlefield 200 is an excellent opportunity to showcase ZezeEdu's AI technology and educational effectiveness on the global stage." He added, "Based on the deep insights gained from educational settings in Korea, North America, and Southeast Asia, we will continue to provide innovative services where AI reduces teachers' workload and supports individualized learning for each student."
ZezeEdu has rapidly grown based on early investment from Naver D2SF, and in Korea, it is proving the effectiveness of 'CherryPot' by utilizing it in over 190 middle and high schools. From this year, it is also expanding its influence in the domestic education market by supplying its AI math education solution to CMS Young Scholars Academy. With this selection as a stepping stone, attention is focused on ZezeEdu's trajectory to become a leader in the global edutech market.
