Jarvis & Villains, the operator of the tax service ‘Samjjamjjam’, has announced significant leadership changes for innovation and growth. The company revealed that founder Kim Beom-seop, Chief Growth Officer (CGO), has been re-appointed as CEO, and will transition to a co-representative system with CEO Baek Ju-seok. This move marks CEO Kim's return to the CEO position approximately 10 months after taking office as CGO, and is interpreted as a measure to clarify the company's future strategy.
Through this appointment, Jarvis & Villains will establish an efficient operating system where the two representatives create synergy based on their respective expertise. CEO Kim Beom-seop will focus on securing the company's future growth engines. His main tasks include promoting AI-based new businesses, business diversification, strengthening AI capabilities within the tax business, and actively identifying new businesses, including M&A. Having proven his capabilities during his tenure as CGO by successfully launching 'Luckys' and 'Samjjamjjam Campus', which attracted 500,000 subscribers, this experience is expected to serve as a foundation for new challenges.
CEO Kim Beom-seop expressed a strong ambition, stating, "Jarvis & Villains urgently needed swift decision-making and execution to add and diversify new business models," and "We will lead a second phase of growth through successful items like Samjjamjjam." This suggests that his return is not merely a change of position, but a strategic choice to accelerate the company's growth.
Meanwhile, CEO Baek Ju-seok will focus on solidifying the company's stable foundation and strengthening its internal capabilities. He plans to lead management efficiency and internal reinforcement efforts, and will be responsible for robust operations for the company's sustainable growth. CEO Baek's role will be a crucial axis in creating a stable management environment, allowing CEO Kim to concentrate on promoting new businesses.
Thus, Jarvis & Villains has clarified its strategy to achieve both growth and stability in a rapidly changing market environment by combining CEO Kim Beom-seop's innovative vision with CEO Baek Ju-seok's stable management capabilities.
