Starting from June 1st, mandatory reporting will commence for residential lease agreements exceeding a deposit of 60 million won or a monthly rent of 300,000 won. This is an important change where failure to report within 30 days of the contract signing date will result in a fine of up to 300,000 won. However, inconveniences such as visiting community centers, using the complex Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport reporting website, and requiring public authentication certificates are anticipated, posing a burden for many landlords and tenants. To alleviate these inconveniences, Zaricommuny, which operates 'Zaritalk,' Korea's largest rental management platform, has officially launched its 'Easy Lease Reporting' service. Now, by simply uploading a photo of the lease agreement through the Zaritalk app, you can complete your lease report in just 1 minute, without complex information entry or public authentication certificates. This drastically simplifies the complex and cumbersome reporting procedure, maximizing user convenience. Currently, Zaritalk is truly Korea's largest rental management app, used by 4 million tenants and 500,000 landlords. It offers a variety of services covering all aspects of residential life, including rental ledger management, finding homes, short-term rentals, resident reviews, and monthly rent card payments, having already earned the trust of many users. Park Byung-jong, CEO of Zaricommuny, stated that the launch of this service "aims to provide practical help to users by simplifying the complex lease reporting procedure," and expressed his ambition to "do our best to ensure both tenants and landlords can manage their lease agreements with peace of mind." Zaritalk's easy lease reporting service is expected to significantly reduce the burden of mandatory reporting and provide new convenience to the rental market.
