"d+ Membership," the paid subscription service of Idus, Korea's largest handmade platform, has garnered an enthusiastic response, surpassing 100,000 regular subscribers in just one year since its launch! Launched in June of last year, "d+ Membership" captured subscribers' hearts with its rich benefits, including an additional 10% discount on Idus special exhibition artworks each month, a 4,000 won discount coupon, and a 20% discount coupon for 10x10. As a result, it consistently maintained a monthly average new subscriber growth rate of 20%, and the monthly average visit rate of membership holders reached 92%, with a purchase conversion rate of 63%, significantly exceeding the average for general customers. It established itself as a key driver, accounting for over 30% of Idus's total revenue last year. However, the true value of "d+ Membership" lies not merely in its discount benefits. Idus willingly dedicates half of its membership revenue to vitalizing the transmission of intangible cultural heritage and developing the craft industry. Through its representative project "Intangible & Infinite," it sheds light on intangible heritage artists, and recently presented "Moo-hyung-mu-goong," a collaborative work by Jeon Sang-gyu, a brush master with 60 years of experience, and Kwak Seon-hye, a dancheongjang apprentice who carries on the palace dancheong (traditional decorative painting) technique, which brought immense inspiration. Kim Dong-hwan, CEO of Backpacker, the operator of Idus, emphasized that "d+ Membership is a crucial link that helps both customers and artists grow and widely promotes the value of traditional crafts," and stated that they would continue to strive to make new artworks and cultural values more accessible to more customers. Meanwhile, Idus is a leading platform driving the domestic handmade market with impressive records, including over 20 million cumulative app downloads, 1.36 trillion won in cumulative transaction volume, and 36 million total orders.
