Katchap H2Care, the operator of the hydrogen vehicle charging platform 'H2Care', has unveiled services and solutions that offer innovative convenience to both hydrogen vehicle drivers and charging station operators through a major renewal.
Currently, domestic hydrogen vehicles numbered 39,216 as of the end of March, on the verge of surpassing 40,000 units. With new models launching this year and an expansion of government subsidies, the era of 50,000 units within the year is becoming certain. Amidst this growth, Katchap H2Care, through 'H2Care', the nation's only hydrogen charging platform, has approximately 36,000 hydrogen vehicles registered and using it, dominating 90% of the market.
Furthermore, by providing CRM solutions to major charging station operators such as Seoul Energy Corporation, Hyosung Heavy Industries, and Hynet, it is leading the digital transformation (DX) of hydrogen charging operations and playing a key role on the supply side. Following its selection for a Korea Gas Corporation cooperation project, it was successively approved for support projects by the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, recognizing its technological prowess and market value.
This renewal was planned to perfectly satisfy the needs of both hydrogen vehicle drivers and charging station operators. Drivers can now check real-time operating and breakdown information for hydrogen charging stations nationwide, as well as hydrogen remaining, the number of vehicles that can be fully charged, and selling prices at a glance. In addition, it offers an unprecedented level of customized functions such as emergency reporting, charging station reservations, integrated search, checking the number of waiting vehicles by type (passenger/bus), and push notifications for favorite charging stations, thereby alleviating "charging stress."
Lee Won-jae, CEO of Katchap H2Care, stated his ambition, saying, "Through this renewal, we will actively prepare for the upcoming era of 50,000 hydrogen vehicles and, by strengthening cooperation with hydrogen charging station operators, lead the 'Hydrogen as a Service (H2aaS)' technology and leap forward as a hydrogen energy DX provider."
