Hwahae, 2025 H2 Award Winners Revealed
Hwahae Global, which operates the beauty platform Hwahae, held the 'Hwahae Awards for the Second Half of 2025' on the 19th, announcing a total of 647 award-winning products and clearly presenting consumer-centric K-beauty trends. The 'Hwahae Awards', selected based on extensive consumer review and rating data from over 410,000 products and more than 9.7 million reviews, boasts high reliability through rigorous verification processes, including an abuse identification algorithm and review manipulation checks. This year's awards were diverse, featuring a total of 7 categories: Best New Product, Efficacy & Effect, Vegan, Next Beauty, and Rising Trend, which reflected data from May to October, as well as the Hall of Fame and Beauty Awards, which aggregated annual data. Notably, 8 products, including d'Alba's 'White Truffle First Spray Serum' and Medi-Peel's 'Red Lacto Collagen Wrapping Mask', which have secured the top spot three or more times cumulatively and received consistent love from consumers, were inducted into the Hall of Fame, proving their power as steady sellers. In addition, 414 products, such as Anua's 'PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum' and Refilled's 'Cytokine Eyelash Dual Ampoule', won the Beauty Awards, confirming their widespread popularity. The emergence of new strong contenders was also notable. 55 products, including Bonamedusa's 'Orange Skin Delete' and Wellage's 'Real Hyaluronic Blue 100 Ampoule', were selected as Best New Products, while 101 products received the Efficacy & Effect Award, and 9 vegan-certified products, free from animal testing and animal-derived ingredients, earned the honor of the Vegan Award. The dynamic growth of the K-beauty market was also confirmed through these awards. 40 products, including Tov's 'Galacto CC Texture Serum', which was recognized for its excellent efficacy among brands registered within 5 years, were named in the Next Beauty Award, showcasing the potential of emerging brands. Furthermore, 20 products, such as Derma Factory's 'Retinal 300ppm Cream', which quickly garnered significant consumer attention, won the Rising Trend Award, reflecting the rapid changes in the market. A Hwahae Global official stated, "We carefully selected products across various categories based on Hwahae's extensive user reviews and sophisticated data analysis capabilities," adding, "We will continue to discover and support promising brands to create successful cases in the K-beauty market." In this way, the 'Hwahae Awards' serve as an important indicator that goes beyond mere product awards, offering insight into the present and future of K-beauty through consumer voices.
