## ONDA Completes Series B Bridge Investment Round for an AI-Powered Hospitality Future
ONDA, an AI innovation company in hospitality, has secured new momentum to lead the future of the domestic accommodation market. Having successfully closed its Series B bridge investment round recently, ONDA plans to accelerate the development of AI-based accommodation operating solutions. While the investment size remains undisclosed, Gowith, a leader in B2B credit fintech, participated as the lead investor, and existing investors also demonstrated strong confidence in ONDA's vision by making follow-on investments.
Since its establishment in 2016, ONDA has led innovation by introducing AI-based SaaS solutions to the domestic hospitality industry. Based on 'ONDA Hub,' its unique integrated sales system covering 60-70% of the domestic online accommodation sales market, ONDA has been leading the market by providing optimized solutions for hotels as well as small and medium-sized accommodation businesses.
Leveraging this investment, ONDA plans to accelerate service enhancement for small and medium-sized accommodation owners and focus on achieving AX (AI Transformation) across operations and sales. In particular, the AI agent service, targeted for launch in the first half of the year, will combine large language model (LLM) technology with extensive accommodation industry data to act as a customized assistant optimized for accommodation operations. This is expected to be a groundbreaking turning point, resolving persistent inefficiencies in the accommodation sector and maximizing operational efficiency.
Oh Hyun-seok, CEO of ONDA, emphasized regarding this investment, "The support from partners who share an innovative vision, like Gowith, adds powerful momentum to ONDA's journey of innovation." He further stated his ambition: "We will fully support small and medium-sized accommodation owners, who have faced difficulties in digital transformation, to experience a groundbreaking maximization of operational efficiency through AI agents, and enable accommodations like motels, guesthouses, and pool villas, which operate with a small staff, to achieve smarter and more efficient operations with the help of AI."
ONDA, having established itself as a true domestic hospitality tech & data company, dominates approximately 60-70% of the online room transaction market in Korea, exerting unparalleled influence. Its technological prowess and market competitiveness have been globally proven through strong partnerships with global big tech companies, including being selected as an excellent partner for Airbnb and Trip.com, and being recognized as a 2024 Booking.com Advanced Connectivity Partner.
