Global proptech company Homes Company successfully held an opening ceremony on June 13th in 'Homes Red Myeongdong', Jung-gu, Seoul, announcing the grand launch of its K-culture-specialized co-living brand, 'Homes Red'. This event marked the first public unveiling of Homes Red's brand vision and spatial strategy, with approximately 50 investors, industry professionals, and content creators attending to directly experience a new model where content and space are organically connected. Starting with CEO Lee Tae-hyun's welcoming speech and vision sharing, the program featured a 'K-Culture Industry Insight Talk' by Space Oddity CEO Kim Hong-ki and Antenna's Head of Strategic Planning, Lee In-kyu, special performances by Candice, Sunnykey, and Dept, an introduction to the Homes Red brand story by Lee Jae-woo, Homes Company's Head of Brand & Product Division, as well as a rich program including a space tour and networking. Homes Red, Homes Company's third brand, encompasses various aspects of K-culture, including K-pop, K-beauty, and K-food, and is an innovative spatial platform where living, performances, and community events are harmoniously integrated. Through its beta launch in December 2024, it has already garnered enthusiastic responses from domestic and international creators and fandoms, proving its potential as a K-culture hub. Under the clear concept of 'A Home for K-Culture Creators', Homes Red Myeongdong is set to become a K-culture hub connecting global fans, creators, and partners. It is diversely configured with spaces that enable content creation and residency simultaneously (for trainees and content creators), special experiential spaces combining fandom activities and stay (for global fans), and accelerating and networking spaces utilizing pitching rooms and lounges (for startups and industry professionals). Lee Tae-hyun, CEO of Homes Company, defined Homes Red as "an innovation base for the K-culture industry and a new paradigm that supports innovative industrial growth through space," and presented a vision stating, "As a new multi-platform that creates demand for stays based on K-culture content, we will announce global expansion plans to major Asian cities such as Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia, and demonstrate a new spatial model that will lead the globalization of K-culture."
