Gyeongnam Innovative Startups Prepare for Takeoff with the 2025 Accelerating Program The '2025 Innovative Startup Accelerating Support Program,' designed to vitalize the innovative startup ecosystem in the Gyeongnam region, officially commenced operations with an orientation held on the 23rd at G-Space@East in Gyeongnam. Hosted by Gyeongnam Province and Yangsan City, and organized by the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, with TIPS operator Genexis in charge of program execution, it aims to accelerate the growth of promising local companies. This program not only aims to strengthen the technological and management capabilities of innovative startups in the Gyeongnam region but also emphasizes practical support for investment attraction. A total of 10 companies, comprising 5 from the ICT sector and 5 from the manufacturing sector, selected through rigorous screening, will receive customized support from Genexis, which possesses expertise in early-stage investment and incubation. The core support is systematically structured in stages, starting from corporate diagnosis, and includes ▲customized consulting for business model advancement, ▲networking with industry experts and investors, ▲practical investment attraction IR (Investor Relations), ▲investment consultation sessions, and ▲follow-up investment linkage. Through this, participating companies aim to maximize their business momentum, practically strengthen their investment attraction capabilities, and ultimately achieve a smooth connection to follow-up investments. The orientation featured an introduction to the program, an active Q&A session, and networking among participating companies. In particular, a lecture titled 'A Senior Entrepreneur's Real-World Startup Story' by Park Jae-hong, CEO of Code of Nature, a moss-based restoration solution company, provided valuable insights and motivation to the participants. The Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center and Genexis announced that they will continue to provide practical support across all aspects of necessary fundraising and commercialization through strategic cooperation, enabling innovative startups in the Gyeongnam region to successfully enter domestic and international investment ecosystems and achieve sustainable growth. This accelerating program is expected to become a strong foothold for the dramatic growth of innovative companies in the Gyeongnam region.
