Gyeonggi Innovation Center: Investment IR for 10 AI & Big Data Deep Tech Startups

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Gyeonggi CCEI), in collaboration with Hanyang University ERICA and the Bucheon Industry Promotion Agency, successfully hosted the '33rd Startup 815 IR Alliance' event on the 25th at the Pangyo Startup Zone. This crucial regular program, which connects promising startups seeking investment with potential investors, focused on AI and big data-based deep tech this time, drawing significant attention. This joint IR was divided into a collaborative track by Gyeonggi CCEI and Hanyang University ERICA, and an independent track by the Bucheon Industry Promotion Agency, with a total of 10 deep tech companies, carefully selected by each institution, showcasing innovative technologies. In the collaborative track, 5 companies presented across diverse fields, including a used phone recommerce platform, an AI-based veterinary diagnostic assistance solution, a motorcycle dangerous driving detection platform, a generative AI exam preparation service, and an AI arrhythmia and blood pressure monitor. In the Bucheon Industry Promotion Agency track, 5 companies demonstrated their unique technological capabilities with solutions such as AI digital marketing analysis, Age-Tech smart health solutions, customized compliance, low-energy CO₂ capture technology, and an AI B2B health check-up platform. 14 major investment firms, including Dongmoon Partners, Murex Partners, Shinhan Venture Investment, Atinum Investment, Korea Investment Accelerator, and KT Investment, attended the IR that day, and thoroughly evaluated each company's technological competitiveness, marketability, and future growth potential. An official from Gyeonggi CCEI emphasized, "This joint IR was a highly meaningful occasion where various companies in the deep tech sector could be showcased by combining the discovery networks of each institution." They also stated their ambition to further expand cooperation with related organizations in the future to actively support investment attraction for deep tech-based startups and to solidify the innovative startup ecosystem.
