The Gyeonggi Content Agency successfully selected 20 promising content startups to participate in the 'Gyeonggi Level-Up Seed Program' through collaboration with Yoonmin Creative Investment Foundation and ACDC, private early-stage investment accelerators.
These selected companies, having overcome a high competition rate of approximately 6:1, were finally decided through an intense two-day pitching event held in front of over 20 G-VIP investors. The selection list includes content-based preliminary and early-stage startups such as UnAI, LitToon, Knibs Studio, and LiveinV, which were recognized for their future growth potential.
The selected startups will participate in professional acceleration programs provided by Yoonmin Creative Investment Foundation and ACDC, receiving support for multi-faceted growth including business model advancement, market entry strategy establishment, and practical mentoring. Particularly, within this year, they are expected to obtain the tangible opportunity of attracting seed investment through the 'Yoonmin Gyeonggi Seed Level-Up Venture Investment Fund'.
A Gyeongconjin official emphasized that this program is designed to enable content startups to pursue long-term growth in close cooperation with private investors, rather than resting on short-term achievements. This demonstrates Gyeongconjin's firm commitment to expanding the investment ecosystem across the content industry within Gyeonggi Province and providing continuous support to help companies stably settle in the market.
'Level-Up Seed' is a program that aims to create a sustainable ecosystem for the content industry in Gyeonggi Province, with phased growth support and private investment linkage as its core. Through this, Gyeongconjin is focused on accelerating the growth of content companies within the province and generating tangible investment results.
Meanwhile, the collaborating organization, ACDC (AC:DC), consists of experts with over 8 years of rich experience and is expected to play a crucial role in supporting the successful growth of startups by facilitating exchanges among them and enabling direct connections with investors and experts.
