Startup NEST, which has grown with the support of the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, has been selected for the Inception program by global AI company NVIDIA, signaling its entry into the global market. This news, announced on the 27th, signifies international recognition for NEST's innovative AI-based emotional management platform technology. NEST measures and analyzes an individual's autonomic nervous system state in real-time through a smart wearable patch incorporating AI technology. Based on this, it is developing a unique solution that quantifies emotional responses and provides them through visual and vibratory feedback, helping users manage their emotions themselves. The selection for NVIDIA's Inception program, which supports the growth of promising startups in the AI and deep learning fields, is expected to be an important stepping stone for NEST to leap onto the global stage. Through this opportunity, NEST plans to accelerate its entry into overseas markets, and in cooperation with Yonsei University, conduct clinical validation research on autonomic nervous system analysis technology to further enhance technological reliability. Jang Seung-won, CEO of NEST, emphasized that "data reliability and interpretation accuracy are key to autonomic nervous system-based healthcare technology," adding, "This NVIDIA Inception selection is a result of being evaluated not only on our technological prowess but also on our proven validation strategy, and it will serve as a practical bridgehead for entering the global healthcare market in the future." Lee Moon-rak, CEO of the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, stated, "This is an excellent example of a regional startup with strong technology directly connecting with a global company," and promised continuous support for NEST's technology commercialization and global expansion. The '2025 Gyeongbuk Pre-startup & Early-stage Startup Step-up Program', in which NEST is participating, identifies promising startups in the Gyeongbuk region, provides comprehensive support including IR consulting, business commercialization support, and investment connections, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the regional startup ecosystem.
