Gooreum Opens Gooreum Square Gangnam, Accelerating Nationwide SW Education Hub Expansion

Edu-tech leader Goorm has successfully opened its new SW specialized education facility, 'Goorm Square Gangnam,' near Yeoksam Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. As Goorm's third educational hub, following Pangyo and Jeju, this opening will accelerate the establishment of a nationwide SW talent development network. 'Goorm Square Gangnam' spans two floors and is designed as a state-of-the-art office-type educational space similar to an actual IT company. Equipped with classrooms, a town hall, meeting rooms, and office spaces that replicate a real work environment, it boasts cutting-edge equipment and efficient space arrangement, allowing learners to acquire practical work senses in an optimal immersive environment. Trainees can prepare to maximize their capabilities as future IT professionals here. Here, a diverse range of AI and SW educational programs will be offered, from K-Digital Training to IT technology seminars and hackathons. In particular, active developers will participate directly as instructors and mentors, leading project-based practical training, thereby maximizing trainees' practical skills that can be immediately applied in real-world settings. Through practical experiences beyond theory, they will grow into core talents needed in the rapidly changing digital era. Goorm, which has successfully operated various educational initiatives such as Digital Saessak, K-Digital Training (KDT), and K-Digital Basic Competency Training (KDC), is expanding the horizon of domestic SW education through this Gangnam hub expansion, and furthermore, driving market growth with digital competency education that encompasses elementary, middle, and high schools.
