Global pizza brand GOPIZZA is accelerating its push into overseas markets through its entry into Singapore's 7-Eleven stores. It has unveiled an innovative model that utilizes its self-developed ultra-compact, ultra-low-power oven, 'GOVEN MINI,' to instantly provide freshly baked pizzas at convenience stores. In particular, 'GOPIZZA GRAB,' a pizza designed to be held and enjoyed with one hand, was launched at $5.5 as part of a localization strategy, making hot, value-for-money pizza available 24/7. This strategy has already proven successful. Currently, an average of 14 units are sold per store per day, significantly exceeding the initial target of 6 units, and the 7-Eleven store at Changi Airport is recording daily sales of 31 units. GOPIZZA announced aggressive expansion plans, aiming to open 30 stores this year and enter 80 7-Eleven stores in Singapore within the next three years. This collaboration is considered a successful case of GOPIZZA's multi-channel business model, validated in convenience stores and cinemas within Korea, being successfully established in an overseas market. Notably, DFI Group, the operator of 7-Eleven in Singapore, possesses an extensive distribution network across Hong Kong, Macau, and China, which further enhances the potential for additional overseas expansion in the future. GOPIZZA had already entered the Singapore market in 2020, establishing itself as the third-largest local pizza franchise. It has proven its global competitiveness, including being the first pure Korean food service company to enter Changi International Airport, one of the world's best airports, after overcoming a 200-to-1 competition ratio. A GOPIZZA official stated, "We are delighted to provide GOPIZZA's differentiated experience to more consumers through this distribution channel," and emphasized, "We will continue to strengthen our global presence with products and services tailored to local needs."
