Glovv, which operates short-form content creation platforms in Korea and Japan, secured contracts with over 1,500 brands within just one year of its launch, with a mere 9 team members, thereby achieving an unrivaled market share in the beauty Reels production sector. Notably, last August, it attracted a Series A investment of 3 billion KRW from Intops Investment, We Ventures, and HG Initiative, laying a solid foundation for growth.
At the seminar that day, a series of insightful lectures covering key issues in the beauty industry followed. Insightful lectures by experts in each field, including 'Brand Growth Story' by Jung Chul, CEO of VT Cosmetics, 'Kakao Gift Strategy' by Choi Guk-sik, Director of Huxley, '10-Year Survival Strategy' by Shin Sung-min, CEO of E.O.A., and 'Instagram Ad Revenue Strategy' by Kwon Da-young, Team Leader at Meta Korea, received an enthusiastic response from the attendees.
The most notable news was that Glovv officially announced its plan to enter the US market early next year, revealing its ambition for global expansion. It plans to expand its presence in the global market through active collaboration with local beauty brands.
A Glovv representative stated, "Our vision is the growth of companies through content, and by focusing on customer needs, we were able to secure 1,500 clients within a year." They emphasized, "Based on our successful experience in Korea, we will demonstrate Glovv's unique competitive edge in the global market," raising expectations for their future endeavors.
