## Glassdome, a Global Leader in Carbon Emission Data Management, Officially Enters the European Market…Establishes European Subsidiary in Munich, Germany Glassdome, a specialist in carbon emission data management, is officially entering the European climate tech market by establishing a European subsidiary in Munich, Germany. This expansion marks its third global base, following the US and Korea, and is interpreted as a strategic move to preemptively capture the European market, a key origin point for global carbon regulations. Glassdome is a climate tech specialist providing a 'one-stop' solution for collecting, monitoring, and reporting carbon data generated during manufacturing processes. Through its European subsidiary, it plans to introduce customized carbon management solutions particularly for manufacturing companies in the automotive, battery, and electrical/electronics sectors. This strategic move is a proactive response to the strengthening carbon regulations of the European Union (EU). The EU has already implemented the 'Battery Regulation,' which mandates the collection of carbon footprint data for electric vehicles and rechargeable industrial batteries, and has announced the introduction of the 'Digital Battery Passport System' starting in 2027. This presents an urgent challenge for companies in the automotive and battery supply chains to measure carbon emission data for their components and obtain global certifications. Glassdome's 'Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) solution' comprehensively collects and manages carbon emission data from various machinery and production lines, even in complex manufacturing environments. In particular, this solution has obtained 'ISO 14067' verification, possessing a unique strength that significantly reduces the time and cost required for companies to acquire global carbon emission certifications. Domestically, numerous leading companies, including Lotte Infrasell, Joil Aluminum, SKIET, LG Electronics VS Business Unit, Shinsung Autotech, and MEMC, are already successfully leveraging Glassdome's PCF solution and consulting to integrate third-party certification services. Furthermore, in December last year, through a strategic partnership with Siemens Germany, Glassdome announced the achievement of 'Catena-X' data interoperability for supply chain-linked PCF calculation in the automotive sector, globally demonstrating its technological prowess. Ham Jin-ki, CEO of Glassdome Korea, stated, "The establishment of this European subsidiary will be a key hub supporting European automotive, battery, and electrical/electronics manufacturing companies to effectively respond to intensifying EU carbon regulations." He further emphasized, "Glassdome's differentiated technology, already proven in the Korean market, will be an important turning point, providing tangible benefits to European manufacturers, who are at the origin of these regulations."
