## Future Scholars Live Class, Record-Breaking Growth in H1 2025! Achieves 92% of Previous Year's Annual Performance, Leading the Creator Economy Knowledge commerce builder 'Live Class' proved its explosive growth by achieving astonishing results in the first half of 2025 alone, nearing its previous year's annual transaction volume. Live Class, operated by Future Scholars (CEO Shin Cheol-heon), recorded cumulative transaction volume of 21.8 billion KRW in the first half of this year, a remarkable 142% growth compared to the same period last year. This astonishing achievement already amounts to 92% of last year's total transaction volume (23.6 billion KRW). This high growth aligns with the rapidly expanding creator economy market worldwide. Goldman Sachs projects the creator economy market to grow to 480 billion USD (approximately 651 trillion KRW) by 2027, with the proliferation of AI-powered content creation and marketing tools lowering market entry barriers and further accelerating growth. Live Class is an all-in-one platform that helps anyone create and sell their knowledge, experience, and know-how as diverse content such as live lectures, videos, and e-books to generate income. Users can easily open their own websites with simple settings and sell various content products. Three main drivers are cited for this first half's growth. First, there has been a surge in cases where specific job specialists, like 'Patient Funnel', successfully debuted as creators through Live Class. Second, educational companies that previously operated their own pages accelerated their D2C transition to Live Class to enhance operational efficiency, student management, and community features. Third, the purchase conversion rate using experiential content such as free live sessions, challenges, and low-cost lectures increased, leading to a rise in the frequency of customers purchasing multiple products. Shin Cheol-heon, CEO of Future Scholars, stated, "Achieving performance levels comparable to last year's annual transaction volume already in the first half of 2025 is very encouraging. We will not cease continuous product development and innovation to lead the expanding creator economy market in the future." Established in 2018, Future Scholars has been leading the knowledge business by connecting knowledge creators and learners through Live Class, accumulating over 9 million users and more than 27,000 knowledge creators to date. Not only creators with hundreds of thousands of followers but also those with around 10,000 subscribers are increasingly achieving successful cases of over 10 million KRW in monthly sales. This year, Future Scholars secured Series A investment of 5 billion KRW, surpassing a cumulative investment of 8 billion KRW and building a solid foundation for growth.
