Collaboration tool 'Flow' declares 'all-in-one' transformation for its 10th anniversary: Leaping forward as a hyper-connected work platform for SMEs and startups.
Collaboration tool 'Flow' has unveiled a major strategic shift as it marks its 10th anniversary. Its developer, Madrascheck, announced the evolution into South Korea's first 'all-in-one collaboration platform' by integrating core groupware functionalities such as electronic approvals and corporate email, going beyond its existing project management and messenger features.
This update goes beyond mere feature expansion; it embodies the ambition to establish itself as a 'hyper-connected collaboration tool' that organically links all aspects of work, specifically positioning itself as a complete work platform for SMEs and startups. Flow has set a goal of achieving 10,000 paid corporate clients and 700,000 users by 2025.
Industry experts evaluate Flow's latest move as a strategic step that will change the paradigm of the domestic collaboration tool market. With Flow alone, integrated management of project collaboration, electronic approvals, email, and schedule management becomes possible, which is expected to significantly alleviate the 'tool fatigue' and cost burdens faced by SMEs and startups. A Flow representative confidently stated that it would lead to cost savings of over 50% compared to existing solutions and improve IT operational efficiency. Indeed, as soon as the news of the free groupware integration was released, 300 companies completed pre-applications in just one day, demonstrating a strong market response.
The core groupware features that Flow offers for free include corporate-exclusive email, electronic approvals that are instantly usable by simply designating approval lines without complex settings (including notification bots), and a shared calendar that allows real-time sharing of team-wide schedules for meetings, business trips, and vacations.
Madrascheck plans to continue innovating the intrinsic value of collaboration tools, designating 2025 as the 'first year of feature advancement.' It intends to introduce AI agent-powered features for meeting summaries, task distribution, and automated report drafting, an open URL feature to strengthen collaboration with external partners, and enterprise-customized workflow customization and automated report generation based on work history.
Flow, already recognized as a project-centric collaboration tool in 55 countries worldwide, is currently accelerating its expansion into overseas markets such as Japan and Southeast Asia. Domestically, it has secured a broad customer base, solidifying its unique position, ranging from large corporations like Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Hyundai Mobis, and KT, to financial and public sectors such as DB Financial Investment and Samsung Life Insurance, and SMEs and startups, including Kkaekkeuthan Nara and Jeongsim Foods, which account for over 80% of its total paid customers.
Lee Hak-jun, CEO of Madrascheck, stated, "The free launch of groupware will be the most practical solution for SMEs and startups thirsty for tool cost savings," and expressed a strong determination to reach the pinnacle of a 'Korean-style all-in-one work platform' based on 10 years of know-how and to definitely achieve the 2025 goals.
