Elice Group Selected as Key Partner for Singapore's Educational Digital Transformation: Triumphant Win of AI Digital Textbook Development Project!
Elice Group has been awarded a contract by Singapore's Ministry of Education (MOE) for an innovative AI-based digital textbook (IDT, Interactive Digital Textbook) development project, signaling its entry into the Southeast Asian educational technology market. This contract is a significant achievement, recognizing Elice Group's education-specialized AI technology and practical application know-how on the global stage.
Over the next six months, Elice Group will develop an AI digital textbook prototype for Singaporean secondary schools and conduct practical validation tests in local schools. This project is part of the Singapore MOE's ambitious educational digital transformation roadmap, aiming to enhance the teaching and learning environment using cutting-edge AI technology and set the direction for future education.
The reason Elice Group was able to secure competitiveness in this international bid lies in its unique experience accumulated domestically. Elice Group already possesses experience in successfully developing and introducing AI digital textbooks for elementary and middle school information subjects, which have passed the Ministry of Education's rigorous review and approval processes, into school settings. In particular, its capabilities in developing education-specific AI models, sophisticated AI-based assessment and feedback systems, and technology for implementing personalized learning support functions optimized for individual learners played a decisive role in this contract win.
Kim Jae-won, CEO of Elice Group, stated, "While there have been policy-related regrets regarding the use of AI digital textbooks domestically, it is very meaningful to have the opportunity for our accumulated technology and content to shine again in educational settings through the Singapore project." Furthermore, CEO Kim expressed a strong ambition, saying, "During the prototype development process, we will quantitatively prove the learning effectiveness, and by expanding it across subjects and developing it into a long-term service model, we will lead the global education market." This Singapore project is expected to be a crucial stepping stone for Elice Group to emerge as a global EdTech leader.
