AETECH, a leader in the resource circulation technology sector, garnered attention by winning the prestigious 'Next Innovator Award' at 'NextRise 2025', an innovative startup festival co-hosted by the Korea Development Bank and the Korea International Trade Association. This award comprehensively evaluates outstanding technological prowess, robust business viability, and positive social impact, and is a prestigious award bestowed upon promising companies poised to lead future industries. Through this award, AETECH once again demonstrated its position as an innovative leader in the resource circulation sector. AETECH's unique automation technologies received high acclaim for revolutionizing waste treatment efficiency. Key technologies include 'atron', an AI-based robot that automatically sorts waste; 'airo-mrf', a state-of-the-art facility that processes waste using a robotic system; and 'multi-tron', a smart waste management solution specialized for multi-use facilities. These technologies are transforming the paradigm of waste management systems and contributing to the realization of a sustainable circular economy. Currently, over 20 'atron' robots from AETECH have been introduced and are successfully operating in public and private sorting facilities nationwide, proving their performance and efficiency. Furthermore, the construction of 'airo-mrf' No. 1, a large-scale robot-based waste treatment facility spanning 500 pyeong, is actively underway in Gyeongseo-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon. This will be a significant step, showcasing AETECH's blueprint for future-oriented resource circulation infrastructure. An AETECH official shared their thoughts on the award, expressing the aspiration to "actively contribute to creating a sustainable circular economy society through leading resource circulation technologies." They also conveyed a strong determination to "steadily expand the foundation for advancing into global markets beyond Korea, to leap forward as a globally recognized specialist in resource circulation technology." Meanwhile, AETECH participated in the 'NextRise 2025' exhibition held at COEX, Samseong-dong, Seoul, from October 26th to 27th, showcasing its innovative waste sorting solutions to the public and attracting significant interest. Currently, the company is actively pursuing cooperation projects for market entry into major overseas countries such as Singapore and Vietnam, and is accelerating the acquisition of local certifications, thereby expanding its influence on the global stage.
