## Medipal Enters Vietnamese Market with ‘Afterdoc’… Foreshadowing Leadership in Global Digital Healthcare Digital healthcare startup Medipal has taken its first step into the global market with 'Afterdoc,' a B2B SaaS solution for managing return patients at hospitals and clinics. This move establishes a bridgehead for its overseas expansion by signing a supply contract with H+ International Medical Center Healthcare & Polyclinic (H+ Hanoi) in Hanoi, Vietnam. This contract is a significant milestone for Medipal, garnering particular attention as it marks entry into Vietnam's digital healthcare market, which is anticipated to experience rapid growth. Global market research firm IMARC Group projected that the Vietnamese digital health market, valued at $2.5 billion in 2024, will expand to $9.5 billion within the next decade. Launched in 2021, Afterdoc is an innovative solution that helps hospitals and clinics maintain consistent communication with patients after treatment and provide customized post-treatment care. By automating post-treatment management according to each patient's treatment characteristics and cycle, and establishing a systematic consultation system, it not only enhances patient satisfaction and treatment effectiveness but also significantly contributes to increasing repeat visit rates and revenue for hospitals and clinics. H+ Hanoi, which is adopting Afterdoc, is an overseas branch of H+ Yangji Hospital, a renowned medical institution established in 1976 and selected as one of Newsweek's 'Top Hospitals in Korea' for five consecutive years. Opened in Hanoi in December 2024, H+ Hanoi operates 12 medical departments, including internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine, across a 3,000㎡ facility, leading innovation in local medical services. Kim Sang-il, director of H+ Yangji Hospital, expressed expectations that Medipal's solution would contribute to innovations in hospital operational efficiency and patient experience management, and Kang Jong-il, CEO of Medipal, stated his honor in joining H+ Yangji Hospital's global expansion, outlining his ambition for Afterdoc to grow beyond Korea to become a leader in the global aftercare service market.
