DeepX Achieves Triumph with WEF 'MINDS 2025' Award... Stands Shoulder-to-Shoulder with Foxconn and Siemens, Dominating the Global Stage with 'Ultra-Low-Power Physical AI'
DeepX, a leader in the ultra-low-power artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor sector, solidified its global standing by becoming the first Korean company to win the prestigious 'MINDS 2025' award from the World Economic Forum (WEF). Invited as an official speaker at the WEF's 'New Drivers of Industry Transformation Meeting 2025' alongside global innovation leaders such as Foxconn, CATL, and Siemens, DeepX unveiled its 'Physical AI' technology vision, poised to innovate industry and society, to the world.
DeepX's core competency lies in realizing AI that operates directly in physical space, or 'Physical AI'. The AI robot solution showcased through collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group Robotics Lab achieved overwhelming computational performance, more than double that of a GPU, using less than 5W of power. In terms of energy efficiency, cost reduction, and system optimization, this has attracted the attention of the global manufacturing and robotics markets, becoming a turning point that demonstrates the unparalleled competitiveness of Korean AI semiconductor technology.
At this event, DeepX presented a blueprint for the future AI industry by announcing its roadmap for next-generation generative AI semiconductor technology based on Samsung's 2-nanometer process. Kim Nok-won, CEO of DeepX, emphasized, "AI should no longer be a technology confined to servers, but rather 'Physical Intelligence' that imbues reality with intelligence to drive fundamental changes in industry and society," and stated that DeepX's ultra-low-power, high-performance AI semiconductors will be a key driving force for this paradigm shift.
Taking this award as an opportunity, DeepX will actively contribute to building a sustainable AI ecosystem as an official member of the WEF's global key agenda co-promotion network for the next two years. DeepX once again proved that South Korea's AI semiconductor technology stands at the forefront of global industrial transformation, and is emerging as a global leader spearheading the future AI era.
