Dayone Company, a leader in the adult education content market, recorded global sales of 15.1 billion KRW in 2024, proving its unique growth trajectory. Even amidst challenges like the weak Japanese Yen, it achieved 12% growth year-over-year, and particularly in the U.S. market, it saw high growth of 28%, demonstrating its strength by maintaining double-digit growth for three consecutive years.
Dayone Company, which first entered the Japanese and U.S. markets in 2021, started with 500 million KRW in sales in its first year of global expansion, and exceeded 10 billion KRW in just one year. Two years later, it achieved 15.1 billion KRW, solidifying its entry into a stable trajectory for its global business.
At the core of this success lies an "in-house content production model" similar to Netflix. Dayone Company internalized the entire process from content planning to production, ensuring quality and consistency. Based on 11 years of accumulated planning know-how and extensive operational data, it developed a "formula for successful content," securing a strong competitive edge in the global market.
Customized strategies considering the characteristics of each country also played a key role. In Japan, a powerhouse of animation, the company focused on supplying creative content such as illustration, animation, and design, exceeding 1 billion JPY in annual transaction volume and recording a substantial growth rate of 16%. In the U.S., a technologically advanced nation, it strategically provided job training content based on AI and cutting-edge technologies, driving high growth.
Dayone Company is also accelerating its global base expansion. Following the establishment of its Japanese subsidiary in 2021, it launched a local organization in Tokyo in 2024, intensifying its efforts to penetrate the Japanese market. Furthermore, it enhanced its penetration into the Asian market through its Taipei, Taiwan subsidiary, and this year, it is establishing a new subsidiary in Delaware, USA, to accelerate its North American business expansion. Currently, it is actively conducting business in approximately 20 countries, including Japan, Taiwan, and the United States.
Lee Kang-min, CEO of Dayone Company, emphasized that "our in-house content production capability, which no one can imitate, is the driving force behind our global growth." He further expressed his ambition to continue advancing the company's in-house production capabilities and expanding its global presence, thereby setting new standards in the global adult education market with high-quality educational content directly applicable to practical work.
