Amidst the rising status of Korean edutech in the Middle East, Davida is accelerating its penetration into the Middle Eastern market, spearheaded by its Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based personalized learning solution 'GENITEACHER'. Building close collaborative relationships with educational institutions and private partners in four key countries – Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Egypt – Davida plans to fully launch local services and conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) starting in the second half of this year. GENITEACHER is an innovative hybrid solution integrating GENICLASS, GENIPEN, and advanced AI learning analysis technology. It is characterized by combining handwriting-based learning with real-time AI feedback to provide an optimized, personalized learning experience for each individual student. Looking at each country, in Saudi Arabia, Davida is collaborating with local partner BAB Co. to prepare for the official launch of the GENITEACHER service in the second half of the year. In Bahrain, a successful meeting with Ministry of Education officials on April 30 saw the demonstration of GENITEACHER, and an agreement was reached to conduct a Proof of Concept under the Ministry's leadership. This is expected to set a precedent for the pilot introduction of an AI-based learning support solution into Bahrain's public education system. In the UAE, Davida, along with local partner KH Co., is introducing the GENITEACHER solution to the UAE Ministry of Education and exploring various cooperation strategies through integration with public schools and smart learning policies. Particularly in Egypt, Davida has formed a strategic alliance with Nahdet Co., the largest local publisher with an extensive distribution network across the Middle East and Africa. They will jointly pursue a new digital education business integrating the GENITEACHER solution with Nahdet Co.'s rich educational content, which is expected to serve as a strong bridgehead for Davida's entry into the North African market. Davida CEO Lee Eun-seung emphasized, "The Middle East is a blue ocean in the education sector with high demand for AI-based digital education transformation," and expressed his ambition, "Beyond simply exporting technology, we will enhance the quality of education through a thorough localization strategy that considers each country's educational environment and cultural characteristics, thereby contributing to the establishment of a sustainable global education ecosystem." After successfully carrying out GENITEACHER-based pilot projects and launches in the four Middle Eastern countries in the second half of this year, Davida plans to establish a global education cooperation model aiming for expansion into the African and Southeast Asian markets in the future. Davida has already been highly recognized for its technological prowess and potential for overseas market entry through numerous domestic and international certifications and awards, including the Grand Prize at a startup idea competition, a 2024 CES Innovation Award, and an award from the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy.
