Dable, an AI-powered personalized recommendation platform company, has announced its leap towards becoming a global AI data company, accelerating its new app Demand Side Platform (DSP) business, 'WheresAI.' Its ambition is to lead the market with innovative solutions, coupled with a stable turnaround to profitability.
Dable is spearheading the app marketing market with 'WheresAI,' a DSP solution that combines its proprietary AI technology with clients' first-party data. This solution, co-developed with Yanolja last year, utilizes machine learning-based predictive models to maximize advertisers' app marketing performance. In particular, the 'AI targeting engine' and 'bidding engine,' meticulously developed over approximately one year, are key drivers that precisely identify users with a high likelihood of purchase conversion and efficiently guide them to the app.
WheresAI has proven its technological prowess and outstanding performance by being applied to actual travel platforms, based on Yanolja's extensive global travel data. It recently expanded successfully into the commerce sector, once again demonstrating its excellence by recording a high return on ad spend (ROAS) that surpassed competing DSPs in pilot tests with major clients. As the value of utilizing first-party data increasingly stands out in the global advertising market, WheresAI is gaining significant attention and high advertiser satisfaction with its precise targeting and performance-based billing (CPA) model.
This year, Dable plans to solidify its position as a global travel and leisure-specialized DSP, centering on WheresAI, while actively attracting advertisers from various industries such as commerce and gaming, thereby expanding its business scope.
Along with the successful establishment of WheresAI, Dable's core competency, the native ad business, also continues its robust growth. It is strengthening its market leadership in key Asian markets, including Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam, and is maximizing advertising efficiency through the advancement of deep learning-based predictive models trained on diverse contextual data, thereby building a solid revenue foundation.
Driven by these comprehensive efforts and achievements, Dable successfully achieved an annual turnaround to profitability in 2024, recording consolidated sales of 32.7 billion won and operating profit of 1.8 billion won under K-IFRS. Following a reduction in its deficit by over 30% compared to the previous year in 2023, it achieved a profit of 2.7 billion won based on adjusted EBITDA last year, clearly demonstrating the profitability and sustainability of its AI data business.
Dable CEO Lee Chae-hyun stated, "We have firmly established a foundation for sustained growth through our leadership in the native advertising market and the stable establishment of our DSP business." He further expressed a strong commitment, saying, "Through continuous innovation based on AI and data technology, we will achieve outstanding results in new areas and make an even greater leap as a global AI data company."
