Clerobotics Signs Master Distribution Deal with Japanese Tokyo Trading Affiliate, Launches US-Japan Two-Track Strategy
CLE Robotics, a leader in AI-based 3D machine vision technology, has partnered with Tokyo Boeki Techno System (TTS), a key subsidiary of Japan's Tokyo Boeki Group, to penetrate the Japanese and U.S. markets. The two companies signed a master distributorship agreement for the Japanese and U.S. markets, establishing a strategic foothold for CLE Robotics' global market entry. Through this agreement, CLE Robotics will leverage TTS's strong sales and distribution network to effectively supply its innovative 3D machine vision solutions to both markets. Notably, TTS is a technology-specialized company with a long history in the Japanese manufacturing sector, having established extensive business relationships with global companies in various fields such as automotive, industrial equipment, and mobility. This is expected to play a crucial role in CLE Robotics' market stabilization and expansion. Currently, CLE Robotics and TTS are actively conducting Proof of Concept (PoC) with major Japanese automotive OEM companies, demonstrating the excellence of CLE Robotics' technology. In the Japanese manufacturing market, which has a strong conservative tendency and is difficult for foreign startups to enter, the fact that they are pursuing demonstration projects with multiple automotive companies attests to CLE Robotics' unique technological competitiveness. These significant achievements were made possible thanks to the full support of accelerator FuturePlay. FuturePlay provided close assistance throughout CLE Robotics' entire overseas expansion process, from establishing a Japanese market strategy and discovering local partners to designing the business structure. Jinhan Lee, CEO of CLE Robotics, stated, "In the Japanese market, where trust and references are paramount, the partnership with TTS will be an important stepping stone to simultaneously target both the Japanese and U.S. markets." He added, "We aim to swiftly commercialize the ongoing PoCs with automotive manufacturers to generate tangible results." Meanwhile, the company recently changed its name from the previous 'CLE Inc.' to 'CLE Robotics Inc.', thereby declaring its firm intention internally and externally to expand its business scope beyond a conventional 3D machine vision solution company into the broader robotics and automation industries.
