Klarsum recently unveiled an infographic on the usability of its university solutions, demonstrating that its AI-powered Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and AI Academic Counseling System 'Connect' are realizing AI transformation (AX) in universities and dramatically improving learning and operational efficiency. Klarsum AI leverages its proprietary AI models, LLM, and RAG technologies to process various forms of information, from text files to complex documents and tables, providing answers with clear sources. It operates as a cloud-based SaaS service, characterized by reducing initial setup costs and maintenance burdens while supporting automatic backups and feature updates. In universities that adopted LXP, the AI assistant's response rate reached 90%, significantly increasing students' learning efficiency. A case study at Baehwa Women's University showed that after the full implementation of LXP, student participation in posts and comments recorded 76.2% and 85.9% respectively, demonstrating the successful creation of a student-centered, participatory learning environment. Klarsum Connect, introduced at Ulsan University, showed remarkable achievements in terms of academic administrative efficiency. Responsible staff processed 28% more inquiries compared to the same period in the previous three years, and the proportion of phone inquiries due to unresolved queries, which occurred with existing chatbots, significantly decreased to 5.5% after Connect's implementation. The inquiry resolution rate using AI reached approximately 90%, significantly reducing the workload. Connect automatically updates and reflects large-scale data such as academic regulations, announcements, and FAQs in real-time through API integration technology. Notably, it has a self-learning structure where even the staff's answers are stored in the database, improving the AI's answer quality and accuracy over time. An academic administrator at Ulsan University evaluated that simple, repetitive answering tasks were significantly reduced, increasing time to focus on core academic management, and improving the predictability and efficiency of work time utilization. Currently, Klarsum is actively used by over 16 universities in Korea, including Seoul National University, KAIST, and Yonsei University, as well as universities, companies, and institutions in 32 countries worldwide, demonstrating its global scalability. Klarsum CEO Choi Yujin stated that based on these data-driven achievements, the company plans to expand its AI service to include code and formula question processing functionalities, specialized for engineering education in the future.
