Online content platform Class101 has achieved its first annual profit since its establishment, proving rapid growth. Last year, Class101 recorded an operating profit of 3.9 billion won and a net profit of 1.8 billion won, achieving remarkable results with an improvement of over 27 billion won compared to the previous year. This is evaluated as a significant achievement accomplished through the optimization of platform operations and strengthening of creator support.
In particular, the 'Creator Home' feature, which has been in pilot operation since last August, is considered a key driver behind Class101's growth. By providing all processes from class opening to communication with subscribers and merchandise sales in a one-stop manner, it significantly reduced creators' operational burden and greatly contributed to diversifying their revenue models. Currently, 130,000 creators are showcasing over 6,000 diverse classes, and through collaborations with highly recognized mega creators such as 'Good Rich Organic' and 'Builnam', the quality of content has been further elevated.
Based on this successful foundation, Class101 has announced even more aggressive business expansion this year. It has presented three key strategies: ▲introduction of an AI-based customized class recommendation service, ▲expansion of subscription services for businesses, and ▲advancement of the Creator Home feature. In particular, it plans to maximize the exposure effect of creator content by utilizing an AI system, and focus on developing customized educational content to target the B2B market.
Gong Dae-seon, CEO of Class101, stated that "last year's creator home service-centric strategy led to meaningful results," and emphasized that with a target of 50% revenue growth this year, it will provide more income generation opportunities for creators and deliver a unique content experience to users.
Meanwhile, having recently attracted investments totaling 18.5 billion won from leading venture capitalists such as Strong Ventures and Goodwater Capital, Class101 has secured robust funding for future business expansion, raising expectations for continued growth.
