## Climate Tech Startups Target German Market… Chungnam CCEI Presents Roadmap for European Entry
Twenty climate tech startups have taken an ambitious first step towards entering the European market, particularly Germany. On July 14th, Chungnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (hereinafter referred to as Chungnam CCEI) successfully hosted the 'Go-Germany Orientation', marking the successful launch of the "2025 Global Accelerating Support Program." At the event held at Chungnam Startup Maru Navi, the selected climate tech startups gathered to explore opportunities for global expansion.
This orientation went beyond a simple program introduction, focusing on providing practical information to help startups effectively penetrate the German market. It facilitated a deep understanding of the overall program, including criteria for budget execution, directions for domestic and international program implementation, and detailed support contents. It also supported the setting of concrete goals through a review of key performance indicators (KPIs) for each company.
A particular highlight of this program was the direct online participation of a local German accelerator, who introduced the vibrant startup ecosystems of Germany's four major cities: Düsseldorf, Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg. The local partner detailed the differentiated startup environments, partner organizations, PoC (Proof of Concept) opportunities, investment attraction environments, and robust networks unique to each city, garnering enthusiastic responses from participating companies. Startups gained valuable time to deepen their understanding of the local market through real-time Q&A, and to obtain profound insights into tailored entry strategies and potential collaboration opportunities suitable for each city.
Chungnam CCEI's renowned Global Accelerating Support Program is perfectly equipped with a localized support system to help domestic climate tech startups successfully establish themselves and gain attention in the German market. This 10-week program, conducted both domestically and internationally, offers comprehensive support covering all stages of German market entry, including customized mentoring and consulting, local partner discovery and linkage (matchmaking), IR and networking with overseas investors, and local PoC opportunities.
A Chungnam CCEI official emphasized, "This orientation was a meaningful starting point where the host organization, startups, and overseas partners collaboratively designed a successful roadmap for entering the German market." They further expressed their ambition, stating, "Moving forward, as an accelerator leading the global leap of climate tech startups, we will faithfully serve as a bridge connecting Korea and Europe, continuing our generous support."
