## Cybersecurity Innovator Checkmal Spreads its Wings for Global Leap with 'SW High-Growth Club' Selection!
Checkmal, a specialized cybersecurity company, has been finally selected as a high-growth company in the '2025 Software (SW) High-Growth Club' program, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). This selection is set to accelerate its entry into the global market.
The 'SW High-Growth Club' is a government support program aimed at discovering and intensively fostering future core software companies. As only companies possessing technology, growth potential, innovativeness, and global scalability are selected after strict written and presentation evaluations, Checkmal's selection signifies authoritative recognition of its technological prowess and growth potential.
Based on its proprietary patented technology for 'situation-aware ransomware detection and automatic recovery,' Checkmal has demonstrated its technological capabilities by providing optimized security services to enterprises and public institutions through its flagship solution 'AppCheck.' In particular, its active pursuit of overseas markets, including successful sales expansion in the Japanese market, promotion of local subsidiary establishment, and formulation of partnership strategies for entry into the U.S. market, received high evaluations.
Through this selection, Checkmal will receive not only up to 300 million won annually in commercialization funds but also comprehensive support such as mentoring from global market experts, investment attraction linkages, and opportunities to build overseas expansion networks, thus laying the groundwork for exponential growth.
Kim Jung-hoon, CEO of Checkmal, stated, "Leveraging this selection for the SW High-Growth Club, we will maximize our technological competitiveness in the global security market and accelerate our overseas expansion based on proprietary technology." He added, "We aim to establish ourselves as a key company leading the future of the cybersecurity industry through continuous R&D and public-private cooperation." Checkmal is expected to leverage this opportunity to play a leading role in elevating the status of K-cybersecurity worldwide.
