An innovative app-tech service for KakaoBank's group account users, the 'Group Mission Challenge,' is newly launched in collaboration with Buzzvil, an AI full-funnel marketing platform. The core of this service is to maximize participation engagement by simultaneously providing individual and group rewards.
This 12-week challenge, running from July 21st to October 12th, is comprised of content-based missions, differentiating it from existing ad-viewing focused app-tech services. Participants can enjoy various missions like checking today's horoscope, watching webtoons, playing Dalgona games, or opening fortune cookies, while simultaneously receiving rewards.
When a participant completes a mission, individual rewards are immediately paid, and their performance is automatically converted into a 'mission score' for their associated group account. This score is updated hourly based on the cumulative participation of members, and additional group-unit rewards are provided every Monday according to the final ranking. Top-ranked groups can receive up to 50,000 won in group support funds each week, encouraging voluntary participation and cooperation from all team members.
Buzzvil optimized the reward design and participation flow based on the vast amount of participation data accumulated through the operation of its rewarded advertising platform. Park Tae-yong, Lead of Buzzvil's Service Planning Part, stated, "We plan to focus more on designing experiences that induce users' voluntary immersion and repeated participation."
This 'Group Mission Challenge' presents a new app-tech model combining social elements with individual rewards, and is expected to establish itself as a creative marketing solution linked to KakaoBank's existing financial services. Buzzvil aims to expand its services in the global market, with the goal of strengthening user engagement.
