Blinker, a manufacturing and AI convergence company, has successfully established a foothold in the North American market by signing a parts supply contract with a subsidiary of a leading North American heavy equipment manufacturing group.
On the 2nd, Blinker announced that it had secured its first purchase order (P/O) for precision machined parts from a secondary battery subsidiary of a North American equipment manufacturing group that boasts a high market share in the global construction, mining, and heavy equipment markets. This contract, worth tens of thousands of dollars, signifies Blinker's official inclusion in the supply chain of a global corporation and the recognition of its capabilities.
Blinker demonstrated its advanced manufacturing capabilities by perfectly meeting demanding quality standards, including drawing verification, dimensional management, and the fulfillment of inspection reports (FAI, CoC). This achievement is attributed to its robust manufacturing infrastructure and unique quality management system, which Blinker has built by consistently supplying CNC/MCT precision machining, metal fabrication, and welding/pipe fitting parts to major domestic companies such as SeAH Besteel, SeAH Changwon Specialty Steel, SeAH Steel, and Hankook Tire affiliates.
The company expects this entry into the supply chain to serve as a strategic bridgehead for long-term growth, going beyond a mere one-off contract. This is because the North American heavy equipment market has an equipment replacement cycle of 20 to 30 years, leading to continuous demand for parts for maintenance and performance improvement. A Blinker official stated that considering the industry's characteristic of continuous reorders after initial supply chain entry, stable revenue can be secured. The company plans to gradually expand its presence in overseas markets, focusing on technology and quality, moving beyond the price-competitive structure of the domestic market.
Meanwhile, Blinker is diversifying its business by operating its flagship manufacturing consignment service, 'Blinker Manufacturing,' alongside its AI-based drawing management solution, 'Blinker Cloud Service.' Furthermore, it has solidified its growth foundation by successfully attracting investments from prominent institutions such as SeAH Group affiliate VNTG, Korea Investment Accelerator, and GVA Asset Management.
