Seoul FinTech Lab, a fintech-specialized startup incubation center in Seoul, has selected 'BamiEdu,' an edutech fintech startup leading educational innovation with AI and blockchain technology, as a resident company for the first half of 2025. Through its hyper-personalized learning platform 'BAMI MATH,' BamiEdu is building an innovative educational financial ecosystem that enables everything from digital education content creation, distribution, copyright protection, to monetization. BAMI MATH, its core service, uses AI to analyze students' levels and provide customized learning materials. It registers content copyrights as blockchain-based NFTs, ensuring automatic revenue distribution to creators via smart contracts. Furthermore, with 24-hour AI tutor bot Q&A and a marketplace for teachers to trade materials, it provides tangible value to both learners and educators. This entry into Seoul FinTech Lab will serve as an important stepping stone for BamiEdu to accelerate technological advancement and global expansion. Currently, the company is intensifying its global expansion, focusing on the U.S. market, and is actively engaged in international collaborations, including blockchain copyright protection verification with The Capital University, and joint development with Vietnam's VMO and the Korea Edutech Industry Association. Notably, through its selection for KOTRA's overseas expansion support program and the co-establishment of the International Association for Certification of Digital Textbooks (IACE), it is leading the standardization of global educational content reliability and financial transactions. CEO Lee Kyeong-min, an electrical and electronic engineering major, is a hands-on leader who, based on his experience co-founding AI and blockchain startups, led R&D for three years and achieved cumulative sales of 7 billion KRW. Through active patent applications and selection as a KODIT 'First Penguin,' he also successfully attracted 2 billion KRW in investment. An official from Seoul FinTech Lab stated that BamiEdu is a promising company that will lead the next-generation edufintech market with convergence technology breaking down the boundaries between education and finance, and promised full support for global educational innovation. Seoul FinTech Lab discovers promising fintech startups and provides multi-faceted support, including office space, global expansion, investment attraction, and consulting. It continues its efforts to support startup growth, such as hosting investment seminars for market entry into the U.S. and Hong Kong.
