Baemin B-Mart Expands Early Opening Service Areas… Total 8 Branches Operate from 6 AM Woowa Brothers' instant delivery service 'Baemin B-Mart' has expanded its early opening service areas to enhance customer convenience. On the 24th, with the addition of three branches – B-Mart Eunpyeong, Uijeongbu, and Incheon Bupyeong – a total of 8 B-Mart branches, including the existing Gangbuk Mia and Bucheon branches, began operations from 6 AM. This is a three-hour advancement from the previous operating time of 9 AM. This service expansion, which has been pilot-operated in some stores since March 25, aims to meet the needs of customers who find it difficult to shop early in the morning. Busy office workers and parents preparing for work or childcare are the primary targets, allowing them to conveniently purchase fresh groceries even in the early hours. At early-opening stores, a variety of products such as dairy, ready meals, bakery items, meat, and fruits can be received via early morning instant delivery or scheduled delivery. Lee Hyo-jin, Head of Woowa Brothers' Commerce Business Division, stated, "We have added stores with extended operating hours to provide a better quick commerce experience to consumers who are accustomed to early morning delivery and have diverse usage needs," adding that they are actively considering expanding service areas to include all of Seoul, the metropolitan area, and major provincial cities in the future. Meanwhile, Baemin B-Mart is a service that rapidly delivers a wide range of products, from fresh food, meal kits, and ready meals to household goods and small appliances, within 30 minutes to 1 hour after ordering. It is currently operating actively not only in Seoul and the metropolitan area but also in major regions such as Busan, Ulsan, Daejeon, Daegu, and Cheonan. Last year, B-Mart proved its business viability by achieving a surplus based on annual EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization).
