Ablely, a leader in the fashion commerce market, demonstrated its unique presence by recording an overwhelming first place in fashion app users in August. According to data compiled by both major research firms, WiseApp and Mobile Index, Ablely recorded 9.17 million monthly active users (MAU) by WiseApp standards and 5.35 million by Mobile Index standards, significantly surpassing its competitors. In particular, it solidified its market dominance with an impressive 10% growth compared to the same month last year.
The most notable aspect of Ablely's growth is the overwhelming influx and high participation rate of teenagers, who are the core consumer group of the future. Teenagers account for 20% of all users, totaling approximately 1.8 million people, which is five times the average of the top 11 vertical commerce platforms by MAU. According to Lemon Tree's 'Analysis of Alpha Generation Consumption Patterns in H1 2025,' Ablely accounted for 43.4% of online payments made by teenagers, ranking first and proving that it leads to actual purchases beyond mere app visits.
Behind this success lies Ablely's self-developed 'AI personalized recommendation technology'. The analysis suggests that a sophisticated algorithm, which trains AI with user big data to accurately find products matching individual tastes and even helps discover new styles, played a crucial role.
Furthermore, Ablely increases customer dwell time and provides a differentiated experience with various non-shopping content that offers enjoyment beyond mere shopping. It provides a special experience throughout the entire app usage process, beyond just the purchase journey, with rich content including virtual try-on service 'AI Styling,' profile picture generation service 'AI Profile,' as well as webtoons, web novels, AI chat, and community features.
Kang Seok-hoon, CEO of Ablely Corporation, stated, "The continuous expansion of content that customers can enjoy and stay with, while strengthening the essence of commerce through technology, has been the foundation for positive performance." He particularly emphasized, "This achievement is highly significant in that we have succeeded in preempting the 'Zalpha' generation, who will be the core consumers in the future," implying plans to further solidify Ablely's unique position in the market by expanding customer touchpoints.
