**Asan Nanum Foundation Selects 20 Promising Startups for U.S. Market as 'Asan Voyager'!** The Asan Nanum Foundation (Chairperson Eom Yoon-mi) announced on the 14th that it has finally selected 20 startups to participate in the 'Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition - Global Track (Asan Voyager)', which helps early-stage startups enter the U.S. market. 'Asan Voyager' is a global acceleration program of the Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition, designed to discover and comprehensively support early-stage software-based startups aiming to enter the U.S. market. Diverse support is provided, ranging from local residency subsidies to professional coaching, seminars, and vibrant community programs aimed at strengthening business capabilities. This year, Asan Voyager received applications from a total of 223 companies, recording a high competition rate of 11 to 1. After intense deliberation, a total of 20 startups were finally selected: Gravity Labs, The Plato, Riad Corporation, Real Draw, Vessel AI, Bandit, Avis, Asleep, AI for Giving, NXN Labs, Innovide, Enhance, Jam Jam Therapeutics, Card Monster, Cutback, Creameet, Packtagora, Pulse Ad, Flipsion, and PicksUp. These teams were recognized for their unique technological capabilities and global potential in various industries, including healthcare, security, content, and sleep tech. Selected startups will receive up to 20 million KRW for local residency costs and up to 5 million KRW in overseas expansion support funds, membership eligibility for 'MARU SF', Asan Nanum Foundation's Silicon Valley hub, and benefits for using co-working spaces and meeting rooms at 'MARU 360'. Additionally, they will be provided with customized coaching programs to strengthen essential competencies for entering the U.S. market, seminars by local startup experts, and regular community programs for team networking. Participating startups will undergo a final evaluation in the second half of the year and will have the opportunity to present and pitch their U.S. market entry achievements at this year's Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition Demo Day. A total of 8 teams will advance to the finals, and a total of 170 million KRW in prize money will be awarded, including 50 million KRW for the grand prize winner. Heo Yeo-na, team leader of the Asan Nanum Foundation's Global Team, stated, "Asan Voyager is a robust program designed to help early-stage startups create tangible opportunities in the U.S. market and grow into global unicorns," adding, "We will actively support these participating teams to validate their growth potential locally and acquire global competitiveness."
