The Korean chapter of APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals), the global association for proposal professionals, APMP Korea, has officially relaunched, signaling a green light for strengthening the global competitiveness of the domestic bidding market. Founded in Washington D.C., USA in 1989, APMP currently boasts over 14,100 members across 79 countries worldwide, making it a truly global professional organization. Notably, it maintains active operations in major countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Having previously experienced a period of operational suspension, APMP Korea has been reborn with stronger leadership and vision, as proposal professionals from various fields united to participate as a joint operating team. This relaunch heralds a leap toward becoming a practical global hub that connects the Korean bidding ecosystem. Leading the charge is CLIWANT, an AI-based bidding solution company, along with other innovative companies such as Korea Management Association (bidding consulting), Awesome School (career education), Minds Ground (MICE), and Codestates (Edutech), who have united for the future of the Korean bidding market. The APMP global board of directors, on March 27 (Korea Standard Time), unanimously approved the reconstruction of APMP Korea, promising their full support. This news, immediately after its announcement, quickly spread within the bidding professional community on LinkedIn, garnering significant interest. The global board also expressed great expectations for the strategic importance of the Korean market and the role of APMP Korea. Starting in April, APMP Korea will kick off with more than four private community events annually, officially commencing knowledge exchange and networking among domestic and international proposal professionals. In particular, through seminars inviting proposal experts from major countries such as the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom, it plans to provide practical opportunities to elevate domestic proposal capabilities to a global standard. Furthermore, APMP Korea will localize APMP's standard educational materials and global success stories to fit the Korean market and provide proposal training programs that align with global standards. Through this, it plans to directly conduct APMP's internationally accredited training, certification exams, and certificate issuance in Korea, thereby leading the cultivation of domestic proposal professionals and strengthening global competitiveness.
