Hospitality AI company ONDA has introduced the 'PensionPlus ONDA AI' beta service, which will change the landscape for small and medium-sized accommodations. Data-driven revenue management (RM) capabilities, previously exclusive to large hotel chains, are now available to small pensions and guesthouses through a single mobile app. The core of this service is real-time competitor monitoring and the provision of local event information. During events like the Boryeong Mud Festival or the Jeongseon Arirang Festival, it becomes possible to understand the pricing strategies of nearby accommodations and plan optimal products. This provides the effect of hiring a professional consultant and is based on 40,000 accommodation product data points accumulated by ONDA through its integration with over 70 OTAs. Currently, approximately 4,000 accommodation owners are using ONDA's service, and 30,000 establishments are indirectly utilizing ONDA Hub. Through this, ONDA aims to help small and medium-sized owners unfamiliar with IT to gain operational capabilities comparable to large hotels, and plans to transform the competitive landscape of the accommodation industry into a more fair and dynamic one. It is expected to expand into mobile-based vertical AI services in the future.
