The YouTube program 'Startup Morning Coffee', hosted by CEO Jeon Hwa-sung, meets viewers live every day at 8:40 AM on the 'Jeon Hwa-sung's CNTV' channel. This program deeply introduces the core competencies and market potential of innovative startups, functioning as a valuable information platform for those interested in the startup ecosystem through real-time comment interaction. One of the startups that has recently attracted attention is 'Ranking Fish', which is opening new horizons in the fishing industry. Ranking Fish is a company that provides corporate enterprise and leisure content services, with fishing as its main content. It focuses on innovatively lowering the entry barriers to the fishing experience by resolving the lack of fishing information and difficulties in purchasing equipment, and by establishing a delivery environment that covers everyone from beginners to expert anglers. Currently, it is solidifying its foundation for growth by carrying out CNTTech's Gangwon K-Camp support project. Ranking Fish's core competitiveness lies in the creation of the 'Fishing Beginner Pitching Beach Center' and its mobility convergence service. The Pitching Beach Center provides everything a fishing beginner needs to start fishing easily and enjoyably, all in one stop, including fishing class programs, equipment rental, fishing experiences, and catch-and-release programs. In addition, to maximize customer convenience, Ranking Fish operates dedicated service vehicles, offering a differentiated mobility convergence service that directly picks up customers and transports them to optimal fishing spots. CEO Jeon Hwa-sung evaluated Ranking Fish as having a robust business structure, operating a B2C model that provides car pickup and transportation services after service application, in addition to a B2B solution that partners with hotels and resorts to offer fishing experience programs for the corporate workshop market. Based on these strategies, in 2023, it attracted over 3,000 customers and achieved an impressive revenue of 425 million won. A diversified revenue structure, including product sales revenue, service provision revenue, equipment consumption, and franchise fees, supports Ranking Fish's stable growth. Building on successful tests in the Seoul Han River area, Ranking Fish is actively pursuing service expansion to major fishing destinations nationwide, such as Gangneung and Ulsan, and is expected to bring a fresh breeze to the fishing leisure market.
