AGCC, a Middle East-based global business developer, has successfully established a bridge connecting innovative overseas startups with the Korean investment ecosystem, thereby opening a venue for global collaboration. On April 30th, the ‘LinkX Alliance: Inbound Networking Day’ held in Gangnam, Seoul, brought together four promising overseas startups from the K-Startup Grand Challenge (KSGC) program with approximately 30 representatives from leading domestic venture capital firms, accelerators, and related organizations, providing a dynamic networking opportunity to explore future business prospects. The event comprised presentations of innovative solutions by the startups and in-depth free networking, allowing participants to thoroughly explore practical cooperation possibilities. In particular, the presentations by startups showcasing their unique technological capabilities in their respective fields garnered significant interest from the attendees. Led by CEO Alyssa Song, Nanodropper unveiled an innovative eyedrop-assisting device that reduces eyedrop waste by up to 60%, presenting a sustainable solution for the healthcare sector. CEO Queen Phan's Mona opened new horizons for resource recycling and sustainable business models with its circular economy platform that efficiently connects corporate surplus assets. CEO Ryan Seol's Albaim introduced an AI solution that optimizes manufacturers' feedback processes based on global consumer review data, bridging the gap between the market and producers. Finally, CEO Anton I's YJ Electric presented a solution that dramatically improves agricultural productivity through smart farm automation AI and IoT technology, outlining a blueprint for future agriculture. The venue was filled with enthusiastic discussions on collaboration throughout the event, and it is reported that numerous follow-up meetings are already leading to tangible results. Jeon Jeong-hyun, CEO of AGCC, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “This networking day served as a crucial starting point for global startups to concretize their strategies for entering not only the Korean market but also adjacent Asian markets.” AGCC announced its aspiration to actively contribute to fostering a two-way innovation ecosystem connecting Korea and the global community by continuously hosting events such as the monthly ‘LinkX Alliance’ series, PoC (Proof of Concept) linkage programs, and investment linkage events. This demonstrates AGCC's vision to continuously expand a win-win platform that promotes the attractiveness of the Korean market abroad while also assisting domestic companies in their global expansion.
