Ablearn, an AI education specialist company, has unveiled a new assessment tool that accurately diagnoses the AI literacy capabilities of individuals and organizations and suggests learning directions, thereby establishing a necessary standard for everyone in the rapidly changing AI era. Until now, standardized criteria for measuring AI comprehension and setting learning paths have been absent. Amidst this, Ablearn's tool has secured reliability by being based on UNESCO's AI competency standards and an in-depth study by the Institute for Medical Education Research at University Hospital Bonn, Germany (a multi-stage review and Delphi study involving 53 global experts). With consultation from overseas researchers and participation from domestic AI education experts, an item structure and interpretation system optimized for the domestic environment has been established, with a particular focus on users' attitudes toward AI and their actual usage methods, rather than technical proficiency. The real-life based questions, which ask how AI is perceived and judged in daily life and work, enable even those unfamiliar with AI to easily participate, clearly grasp their level of AI utilization comprehension, and design personalized learning roadmaps. The final response results are provided with itemized analysis and visualization materials. This assessment provides useful criteria not only for individuals starting AI learning but also for practitioners who wish to understand the competency levels of their organization's members. Park Jin-ah, CEO of Ablearn, emphasized, "AI is now a topic that everyone must understand and judge, and this assessment method is the starting point for that understanding," and stated that the company will continue to create practical AI education that leads to real change. Currently, it is primarily offered to Ablearn students, and collaborative use is also possible upon request from companies and institutions.
